Why Trump’s Indictment Won’t Diminish Supporters Belief In Him

The irony of April 4th is that while it’s the 55th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination, it’s also the day Donald Trump was criminally indicted by a black man in a city headed by a black man, and a police department headed by a black woman.

Trump stepped into the same courthouse that the Central Park Five walked into, and he called for their execution.

Even after their exoneration, Trump never once acknowledged or apologized to them for being wrong!

That said, millions of Americans are adamant that the former president is being unfairly targeted and prosecuted for solely political purposes.

Why do they feel this way in the face of what appears to be compelling evidence to the contrary?
